The Shokugan Modeling Project: Grendizer U is a snap-fit model kit from Bandai’s SMP (Shokugan Modeling Project) line, previously known as Super Minipla. It is based on Grendizer U, a modern reboot of the classic UFO Robot Grendizer anime by Go Nagai, created to celebrate the franchise’s 50th anniversary. This kit requires no glue or paint, as it comes with pre-colored plastic parts, making it beginner-friendly while still offering enough detail for experienced modelers who enjoy adding custom touches. Once assembled, the Grendizer figure stands approximately 15 cm tall and around 7 cm wide. The box size is roughly 21 × 16.5 × 8.5 cm, and the materials used are primarily ABS plastic. The kit includes various accessories such as interchangeable hands and iconic weapons. There is also a separate "Spazer" unit, Grendizer’s flying saucer-style vehicle, sold independently as an add-on to complete the full display setup.
